Anne Speckhard, Ph.D., is Director of the International Center for the Study of Violent Extremism and serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Started in July of 2015, ICSVE grew out of Dr. Anne Speckhard’ s work on counterterrorism and counter- radicalization spanning more than two decades.
